About A Plane Crash -
Seasons ep
About A Plane Crash's first EP (
Seasons) was released on
December 4th 2008 (22nd of
December on I-Tunes) by 57 Records UK. This is
About A Plane Crash's first EP. They are a fairly new band climbing onto the
Deathcore Stage.
The
Seasons EP is a small collection of songs that is of
Deathcore genre. The musical styles on this EP are a mixture of heavy
Deathcore breakdowns to more melodic pieces. Also the lead singer prefers to use growled vocals rather than screamed ones.
The lyrical themes on this EP are mainly about personal issues such as in the song "
Seasons" and also on the song "Everest" they talk about some kind of past experience that he remembers.
This EP is pretty good exept the are a few things that may affect people when they listen to it. Firstly, although this EP is of the
Deathcore genre and contains some heavy breakdowns and well played melodic pieces, some part of some of the songs tend to be a bit plain music, singing wise. Also some of the songs have annoying pauses in their songs.
Overall About A plane
Crash's debut EP is very good. They are one of the rising stars in the
Deathcore genre. They may someday be as big as the likes of
Deathcore giants
Suicide Silence or
Whitechapel. They are one of the newest bands to arrive on the
Deathcore scene and I expect big things for their up comming debut album which is due to be announced soon hopefully.
