Back to the rockin'roots

This is the 29th studio-album from the rockers of Status Quo. It's one of the best albums for the last 30 years. It opens with the furious rocker Two way traffic. There are no ballads among the fourteen new tracks. There's something on board for every Quo-fan. As mentioned the fast rockers: Two way traffic, Frozen hero and the nr. one on this disc Movin'on. Solid boogie (heads down) in Let's rock and Reality cheque, the original Dust to gold, the rockabilly track Any way you like it, and the exciting pop rockers. The Winner and Better than that.

Two things had been done better (for 20 point from 20), a six or seven minute boogie song and on some tracks more solo guitar. But after 45 years this is a fantastic rock album. In dutch papers 5 from 5 stars.

Yann.77 - 09 Octubre 2011: pas un grand Status Quo, mais qui s'écoute bien tout de même, quand le groupe comprendra que c'est pas la quantité mais la qualité qui fait un album....
