This is a young Welsh thrash metal band that are on the right track to a successful musical career, with speed and attitude, attributes that a good thrash band are supposed to have. They are a 5 piece band from Swansea South Wales (UK), which lies on the Welsh coast of the Bristol Channel. The band was founded by Pete (guitar) and Rich (drums) in 2007. They went through a series of line up changes and they finally found the right band members that coalesce for a better chemistry. Including vocalist Arran, who is a yelling maniac, to complement their style with his intense vocals. Their motto is "Thrashin 'like the 90's never happened."

This is their second demo album and it contains 3 songs. The playing time of this self-released disc is almost 15 minutes in length. It's not obvious from the lyrical content, why this album was entitled Curing the Plague. They are a popular live act in the UK, their music has the mosh pits going wild. They request that fans quickly dive off of the stage, to make way for a steady flow of fans diving into the mosh pit, and also never interfere with the performers or their equipment. They also Discourage the fans from diving into the crowd feet first, for safety reasons.

Too Late For Tears kicks off with a catchy thrash riff, then there are interludes with a structure, that reminds me of Manowar. It goes back and forth with these 2 different approaches for about 6 and a half minutes. The lyrics of this song are about a criminal who is being hunted down. The second track, White Feather, thrashes with shifty guitar riffs, in a style that resembles early Anthrax. It's a great song for moving the circles within the mosh pits. The lyrics are about the deceptive ways of warmongers. The last song, Wedding Ring, is a song that thrashes with a lot of fist pumping energy. It can be compared to Testament Although there are some obvious influences from Slayer (without their dark mood). The lyrics of this song are about domestic violence.

Arran has a great voice and yelling all around presence, as seen on the videos, to front this young band. The Continually thrash guitars in the 80's style and never cease to entertain. Dave provides decent bass playing, but never overpowers the guitars. Maybe they should write some killer bass riffs for him in the future. Rich is a very skilled drummer and hyperactive, with plenty of blast beats. This 3 track demo is a teaser, that leaves me wanting more. They sound a whole lot better on their live videos than they do on this demo. This music is Likely to appeal to thrash metal appetites of bay area thrash and mosh NYC.
