"Gateways", the first single from "Abrahadabra", the forthcoming ninth album from the Norwegian symphonic black metallers Dimmu Borgir will be available for purchase via iTunes in Europe on Friday, August 20 and in North America on Tuesday, August 24.

"Abrahadabra" will be released via Nuclear Blast Records September 24 in Germany. In the rest of Europe it will be on September 27 and in North America on October 12.

The word "abrahadabra" (which can be translated into "I will create as I speak") first publicly appeared in the Chapter III of "Liber AL vel Legis" (commonly referred to as "The Book of the Law") written by Aleister Crowley in Cairo, Egypt in 1904.
