March 1997 : VALUATIR born under the name of ILUVATAR. More based upon acoustic stuff, inspired by Keldsfanger's ULVER, STILLE VOLK, old CRUACHAN and BATHORY. Line up : Fëarann (vocals and flute), Centenebris (guitars).

October 1997 : Centenebris left the band, Fëarann changed the name to INIS GWENVA. Songs took a Metal way, mixed with ancient and traditional music instruments.

June/december 1998 : Line up : Fëarann (vocals, whistles), Matt (guitars)

May 1999 : Ilùhain (from an unknown but glorious Heavy Metal band called DELIRIUM TREMENS) joined the band. Line up : Fëarann (vocals, whistles, programmations), Ilùhain (guitars).

October 2001 : Agarwaen and Maxime (from the ashes of EXCEED) joined the band. Line up : Fëarann (vocals, whistles, bagpipes, bodhran), Ilùhain (guitars), Agarwaen (guitars), Maxime (bass), Nico (live drums)

29th January 2002 : First gig.

March 2002 : Geoffrey replaced Nico at live drums

June 2002 : Yohann joined the band as drummer

Summer/Fall 2003 : Recording of the first demo, "The Call Of Revenge". Tracks of this release were composed from 1997 to 2002.

2003/2004 : Gigs....

May 2005 : Maxime was fired

Summer/Fall 2005 : Recording of the second demo, "IInd Invasion". Line up : Fëarann (vocals, whistles, bagpipes, bodhran), Ilùhain (guitars), Agarwaen (guitars), Yohann (drums), Geoffroy-Briac (session bass). Mesys joined the band at bass guitar.

15th october 2005 : Last gig under the name of INIS GWENVA.

December 2005 : R.I.P. Ilùhain



January 2006 : The name changes to VALUATIR. Line up : Fëarann (vocals, bagpipes, whistles, bombard), Agarwaen (guitars), Mesys (bass), Yohann (drums)

June 2006 : Agarwaen was fired, Hemreich from ANGMAR joined the band.

November 2006 : Mesys left the band

End 2006 : T.o.S. from THE BOTTLE DOOM LAZY BAND joined the band at bass guitar.

3rd february 2007 : First gig under the name of VALUATIR

May 2007 : T.o.S. left the band, begining of the recording of the first album.

November 2007 : Delduwrath from SAIGNEUR joined the band at bass guitar

January 2008 : VALUATIR is searching for a label... Line up : Fëarann (vocals, bagpipes, ...), Hemreich (guitars, vocals), Delduwrath (bass), Yohann (drums).

2008: Valuatir releases its first album under the simple title "I"
