Since 2005 when Alternative Metal band, Urbansnake, released its first EP, the band has been included in the Clear channel New program; has seen massive downloads of its first single, “Rise;” Has received international airplay on both terrestrial and internet radio, and garnered strong reviews from radio and press personalities around the world.
"I think they crank," says Michael Yusi of UCradio (July 19, 2007). They remind me of this mix of Metallica, Motorhead, Sabbath all just kind of contained in this ball of cranking power and controlled rage."

In 2008, Urbansnake released its first full-length CD, Whiteknuckle, an enhanced CD that includes the video for the song, “Orphan,” also viewable on the band’s homepage at www.urbansnake.com. About Whiteknuckle, Yusi wrote, “Finally, a Hard Rock/Metal album that matters! Urbansnake has hit it right on the head with Whiteknuckle. This album screams of classic metal bands before they all sold out and started drinking Miller Light and eating sushi for breakfast. It's bands like Urbansnake and albums like Whiteknuckle that make me believe that music is not dead and that there are still bands out there doing it for the right reasons and that they're doing it loud. This one is worth twice the price.”

Currently, the band is playing around the New York Tri-State area and adding to its formidable fan base.
