The band was born on late 2002, by Shadowmaster and Negatium Corporis, also involved in the project of sound research Endless Void. Nebiros joined immediately the band as guitarist. Due to the failure to found a drummer, the first songs were composed with a drum machine. This situation came to an end when Shadowmaster himself, decided to became the drummer for Unholy Storm, so Negatium became the new bass player.

The band with this line up, continues the composition of the tracks that will be included on their first demo, which will be called "Our Ancient Vision". During this time Shadowmaster and Nebiros joined other musical projects, like Infernal Eternal (a cover band of the swedish black metal act Marduk) and Domini Tenebrarum, but these experience comes to an end very early. In May 2004 Unholy Storm debuts on stage in Torino, with the cult black metal bands Fearbringer and Malignance, and after at the extreme Metal Festival with Black Flame.

After these gigs, the band released their first album, under the name of "Our Ancient Vision", which contains seven tracks of pagan and pure black metal, influenced by the sounds of bands like Immortal, Mayhem and Ulver.With the release of the album, which has received very good responses from the critic, the group has begun to promote it with some live appearences like the one in Busto Arsizio with the italian cult black metal band Adversam and The True Endless. Meanwhile Negatium Corporis and Shadowmaster had joined other projects (Nefarium, Natassievila and Ater). Nowadays, Unholy Storm are working for the new album, which will see the light in the near future.
