Biography : Timor Et Tremor

Since this year's beginning we were focused on recording our first output "The Winding Path".
As we didn't had (and don't now have) the needed capital for booking a studio, we produced all by ourselfs. Now we are excited about the feedback of the listeners and we will soon start writing new material...

The positions at guitar and bass are still unmanned. If a dedicated player likes our stuff, he is invited to contact us...

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2006

We, the three members of "Timor Et Tremor" (Jan, Hendrik and Marco) quit the search for new members at this moment and concentrate back to the real important aspects. There are no questions about the motivation and will to continue or the potential of the band. As soon as we find a new home for the band, we will start the preparations for our first demo...

The beginning...

The band "Timor Et Tremor" was founded in the summer of 2005. After they split up with the death-metal band "Twilight Prophecies", Jan (drums) and Björn (Guitars) nevertheless wanted to stay musically active. A name for the new band quickly came up and so did the musical direction. The lyrical background was formed strongly by topics about paganism. They both agreed that there was enough space in their home area for a band which plays a mixture of black- and pagan-metal. Shortly after the foundation, 2 more members for guitars and vocals were found. The band was completed by Marco (Twilight Prophecies) doing the bass. Unfortunately this line-up didn't last long, caused by the lack of time of the guitarist and vocalist. Nevertheless during this period, the style of "Timor Et Tremor" was actively shaped.
So the trio started again to search for companions. As a result Marco switched from the bass to guitar. After a short time with a new found guitarist (he shared the problems of his predecessors) Hendrik (also Twilight Prophecies) came up as a new vocalist. To complete the bad situation, Björn also left the group.
But even during this hard times (in addition to rehearsal-room problems) the songwriting never stagnated.
Mentionable is another try with a new guitarist, that resulted like before. We're still unsure about his reason to left the band behind.
