Subhuman was born in 2001 as a Thrash Metal monsters' cover band (Slayer, Megadeth, Testament...), but in 2003 they began to compose their own songs. Even though being inspired by the great Bay Area Metal bands, Subhuman try anyway to give a touch of personality and modernity to their songs, making clear also the love for Morbid Angel and Malevolent Creation's Death Metal and for the broken rhythms of Meshuggah. Lyrics in italian language moreover, though not revolutionary, contribute to distinguish Subhuman from the moltitude of bands which play the same kind of music, making their proposal much more interesting.

Debut Delirio No.1, a record produced and mixed by the guitarist Matteo Buti himself, has been a real shock for the underground Metal scene: reviews in Italy and abroad has been enthusiastic and Delirio No.1 collected an endless series of Top Demo titles (Grind Zone Magazine, Eutk.net, Metallized.it, RawAndWild.it, Heavy-Metal.it etc.).

Meanwhile the dimension of the very fond retinue of the band, thanks also to an ustoppable live activity (gigs together Avulsed, Necrodeath, Cadaveric Crematorium, Gory Blister, Horrid, Stormlord etc. can be remembered), keeps in growing and SUBHUMAN are already finishing the composition of their first full-lenght album…
