Spell Forest is a Black Metal band from São Paulo/SP, formed in 1995, immersed in the depths of traditional Satanism and its left path of self-knowledge and power.

Contrary to what many atheists and pseudo Judeo-Christians think, our beliefs and origins come much earlier than any god or biblical lie, it comes from a time when one would not dream of creating a god and a people so coarse, fetid, alienated and handler.

We live and believe in a great King called Satan, which is a strong name of opposition and questioning, but it is also possible to list dozens of other names known and accepted in different cultures, which by the way are older than the dominant religions, such such as: Seth, Shaitan, Ahriman, Ishtar, Angra, Mainyu, among others, who were worshiped and revered in cultures around 3000 years before the birth of the Christian religion, which was responsible for drowning women, humanity and all earth in millennia of ignorance and manipulation, being against any kind of ideological, scientific and cultural advance.

We are free beings and we don't live according to a book written by someone who perhaps never existed. We live according to what we think is best for ourselves, we progress and grow with our own effort and not with cheap prayers to get something lying and disloyal, so it will always be among people who adore and want to strengthen the great king every day more from the depths of the abyss.

However, our left path has no connection with the biblical scum or even exists because of it, but we love to desecrate and touch on this subject, because it is the great and greatest evil of humanity. Profaning this disgrace and contesting something that is outright lies is in our soul and in our blood. In 1998, there was the entry of Lord Mephyr (vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist), who became Spell Forest's mentor, also entered Prosathanus (guitarist), Amon (drummer) and Flagellum on keyboards. At the same time, Spell Forest performed its first two shows, one of them being in São Paulo and the other in Goiás.

Another fact that cannot be forgotten and is a shameful part of the troubled beginning of the band, is the expulsion and execration of a mediocre being called Grand Duke Ahriman. We don't really like to quote this "shit", but since it's a biography, I think we have a duty and obligation to tell the whole story of the band to our fans and supporters. This worm with extreme falsehood and resourcefulness in the art of manipulation had the intention of singing and due to his musical precariousness and being completely illiterate, that was just what he tried to do. Due to his troubled and confused view of the occult, right at the beginning he tried to implement totally lost ideas about what Satanism was, this previously prohibited and contested by Lord Mephyr and finally, he was literally humiliated and expelled from the band. To this day he is changing, jumping from belief to belief totally lost in his ideas and as if that were not enough, the inept being continues to do his cheap self-promotion at the expense of the black arts and always thinking much more about rude visuals than musical evolution. In the face of all the reasons exposed, we conclude that he always was and always will be a person incapable of fighting for any brother and even for himself, being a coward who hides in the light of his stupidity and belittled by any kind of human being. We believe that his end is only one, as an evangelical.

After this misfortune, the first rehearsal demo was recorded, which was entitled “Adornus Satani”, containing two songs composed by Prosathanus.

In 2000, the band's second demotape was recorded live, this time with some compositions by Lord Mephyr, along with the two songs from the 1998 version re-recorded.

In 2001, Prosathanus left the band to dedicate himself to another project and the band now only has Lord Mephyr (vocals, guitar, bass, guitar and keyboards), Hamon (drums) and Flagellum (guitar).

In the same year, Spell Forest releases its first album by Somber Music, entitled “Adornus Satani”, with twelve new songs.

In 2003, Daemon Est Deus Inversus (bass), Vlad D' Hades (guitar) joined to complete the band's formation.

In 2004, Spell Forest performed in Campos do Jordão, a city located in the interior of São Paulo.

After a period of lack of contacts, support from record labels and major financial difficulties, the band finds itself unable to quickly complete its new project, this same year, the band enters the studio to release its second album, entitled “Lucifer Rex”.

In 2005, the album “Lucifer Rex” was released by Goat Music Records.

This year the band played their last show, which was at the Arena Metal Club in Osasco.

At the end of 2005, “Lucifer Rex” was released in Europe by the Italian label B.T.D.O. and members Vlad D' Hades and Daemon Est Deus Inversus leave the band to continue personal projects.

In 2006, the album “Adornus Satani” is remixed and remastered, its re-release took place independently.

In 2007, Spell Forest launches its third album in jewel case and digipack format, also independently, entitled “Lucifer Rex II – Celebrare a furvum luna in martis”, with sixteen tracks, which total more than an hour of worship to the chaos and the great King. A concept album, taking advantage of some tracks that didn't make the “Lucifer Rex” album. “Lucifer Rex” ends with a small outro, which was used as the first song on “Lucifer Rex II”, creating a cover concept that is basically the context of the same scenario with different perspectives.

In 2009, the album “Verum” was digitally released, which until then is the band's dirtiest and rawest album.

In 2010, after many years on drums, member Hamon left the band to dedicate himself only to his main project.

In 2011, when Lord Mephyr was definitely alone with Spell Forest, he decided before looking for a new lineup to produce an atmospheric concept album, inspired by classic soundtracks and ritualistic environments. The whole concept of orchestral and atmospheric music that already existed since the album “Adornus Satani” was retaken for this work.

For years, Lord Mephyr wanted to make this type of music, so he decided to put it into practice in 2011, mixing ideology, ritualistic atmosphere and music, all in a conceptual work, it was a very controversial album and misunderstood by many imbeciles, which they don't take an abysmal atmosphere seriously, nor are they capable of absorbing a chaotic and obscure symphony. Many felt that Spell Forest had changed and that it was no longer the same BLACK METAL.

People who follow and respect Spell Forest, know that this is part of the band and that it was already expected, so here's a message for metalheads, atheists, religious people, modists and all that scum, that they don't listen to Spell Forest, because the which is not understood as a higher philosophy, is not meant to be enjoyed by lost and confused souls.

In 2012, finally “Verum” is released in digipack and normal format by Corvo Records, containing a bonus song recorded in 2012.

In November 2012, after almost 20 years of existence, Spell Forest has its own drummer, called Pestiferatt XIII, who joins to finally leave the band freer to create their songs and add value with their great commitment.

In 2013, the sixth album, entitled “Catastrophe Altar”, was digitally released. That same year, Spell Forest made an agreement with the Pagan War Rex label to distribute all the albums released to date and made another agreement with the Pagan War Rex/Wolves Curse Records label to release the album “Catastrophe Altar” in A5 format. digipack with European distribution.

In 2014, Spell Forest completes its formation with members Flagellum (former member) on guitars and Lord Morpheus on bass.

Spell Forest releases by Corvo Records its last album entitled, “Catastrophe Altar” in jewel case.

Still in 2014, he enters into an agreement to release his seventh album via Drakkar Brazil Productions entitled “Per Triangulum Autem Serpentis Nefarium”, its recordings begin in September of this year and its release is scheduled for 2015.
