Sordid was formed by Samuel (vocals/guitars), Johan (guitars), Karl (bass) and Gustav (drums) in early 1999. Two years later we recorded our debut, a 7" EP recorded in Berghem Studio. We rendered promising reviews from many magazines, as Close-Up Magazine and Metalwire: "Soon, Sweden has another platoon that should qualify into the premier leauge of brutal death metal" (Jonas Granvik, Metalwire #7). The EP was followed by a promo-cdr including three brand new tracks, which eventually led to a deal with Forensick Music. At the same time our drummer Gustav left the band and was later on replaced by David .The line-up changes took some time and delayed our debut at Forensick. Summer 2003 we went to Necromorbus Studio to record our first full-length album. The visit resulted in the CD "Armed To Their Grinning Teeth" - ten brutal deathmetal songs planned to be released in April 2004.
