Siege of Hate was formed in April 1997 by Bruno and Amaudson as a response to the so-called return of Punk/HC which was taking place at that time. It was meant as a project against Punk fashion. When the line-up was completed by Ricarte and Wilker the project became a serious band. In April 1998 the demo-tape “Return to Ashes” was released and Siege of Hate became a well-known name in Brazil. Siege of Hate started to gig around and some participations on compilations was made as well. During the following years, Siege of Hate went through the usual rumble of line-up changes, preparing new songs, playing gigs and 2003 Siege of Hate had gathered a stable line-up and the debut album “Subversive By Nature” was recorded and in October 2003 released by Encore Records in South America, and finally in March 2004 licensed to New Aeon Media for the rest of the world. You thought after Sepultura, Krisiun and Rebaelliun Brazil had played all it's cards, well after hearing Siege of Hate you will think again…we are very sure about that!
