Shadowings started in October of 2004; at first was formed by Bruce Baiochi (vocals) and Alessandro Takassaki (guitars). With some songs finished, Shadowings entered in studio in November of 2004 to the recording of Battle Songs and Steel Tales demo CD, which was finished in February of 2005. In the beginning, Shadowings was just a project, but when Alex Baiochi, Dian Carlo and Pedro Allender joined the band
in February of 2005, then Shadowings was complete. A short time after Alex Ritter joined the band too, on the second guitar. At the same time, Pedro Allender left for private reasons. After a long and hard searching for a new bassist, in February of 2006 Bruno Rollin joined the band. In April, the band entered in studio to record a rehearsal at the Ocotea studio with 10 own songs. In September of 2006, Alex Ritter and Bruno Rollin left the band, then Rodrigo Querino was
recruited and exceeded the expectations. In July of 2007, Daiton Arkanthus (bass) joined us. And with this lineup, Shadowings is now working in its new material, which is going to be released probably in the next six months of 2008.

"Our song consists of a pagan/heavy metal based on melody and
naturality, with epic and classic passages, looking for the creation of an original music. Our lyrics live again epic battles, middle age, and the struggle for freedom of the people, of the pagan culture and the honour of our ancestors."
