Biography : Septic Moon

The Cult Beneath the Septic Moon: An 18-Year Silence
Septic Moon is a Black Metal entity originating from Mexico, forged in 2002 by Saglarieth (guitars), Shadowbuilder (drums) and Morgorgoat. (vocals). Initially influenced by Norwegian Old School (Mayhem, Darkthrone), the band rapidly evolved toward a more structured and brutal fury, adopting the rhythmic aggression of Swedish Black Metal (Dark Funeral, Setherial) that defines their current sound.

Following a series of self-released demos and line-up changes—including the launch of their debut full-length, "The Silent Breath Of Evil" (2008)—the Beast entered a profound dormancy.

For 18 years, the entity withdrew from the public stage, maintaining a ceremonial silence necessary for the invocation of its next and most ambitious chapter.

The Resurrection and the Invocation of Thagirion (2026)

Septic Moon awakens from this long rest to present "Thagirion" (2026), an album that represents a refined distillation of three decades of extreme metal fervor. This work transcends the limitations of a solo project and is presented with the might of an elite session line-up, guaranteeing impeccable production quality:

Composition and Vision: Shadowbuilder (Guitars, Vocals, Arrangements).

Crushing Session Drums: Krzysztof Klingbein (Drums, renowned international session musician).

Visual Art: Dzmitry Zasimovich | @shredderdima

Musically, "Thagirion" is a relentless blast, combining extreme speed and swedish precision style (reminiscent of Marduk and Naglfar) with the raw, atmospheric darkness of Norwegian roots (Tsjuder, Darkthrone). Featuring six original tracks of high-speed, rythmic Black Metal and a focus on the esoteric symbolism of the Qliphoth and Dark Kabbalah, this album is not a comeback; it is a declaration of sonic warfare and a reaffirmation of the band's position as an uncompromising force in global Extreme Metal.
