Road to Manila is a melodic hardcore/post hardcore band from Fredericia, Denmark.

Before the band ventured into the melodic hardcore/post hardcore genre, they had unmistakably claimed their position as one of the leading deathcore bands in Denmark. Recently Road To Manila sought to incorporate other musical elements into their music as they were tired of the conventional style of deathcore, which led them to integrate more melodic and atypical parts in their songs. While still including the more heavy aspect of their earlier work, the focus of the new direction of the band is to find a unique voice within the hardcore genre.

Since they initially founded the band in 2007, Road to Manila have played a considerable amount of shows in Denmark and Germany, where they have shared the stage with well-known bands like; Hatesphere, The Dead Lay Waiting (UK), As We Fight, A Traitor Like Judas (Germany), Scarred by Beauty, Inside Process (Italy), By the Patient, 100 Knives Inside, and many more.

In the summer of 2012 Road To Manila entered Dead Rat Studio with producer Jacob Bredahl (Hatesphere, The Kandidate, As We Fight, etc.) to record their new 6 track mini-album ‘Distance’.
