On November 27, 2007, RED's van and trailer crashed on Interstate 24. There was major damage to the vehicles involved, and Hayden Lamb suffered injuries that forced him to sit out on their headlining tour. RED used a donated drum set in Minnesota and other tour stops not long after the incident.

On January 8, 2008, RED switched record labels from Essential Records to Epic Records (both operated by Sony BMG). Their debut album has so far seen 3 singles. The third "Already Over" is slowly becoming their most successful charting on both american rock charts.
