Formed in 1988 by Deorth, Morgoth and Cernunnos. A self-titled demo was released in 1991 and after circulating minor rehearsal tapes the bands definitive demo, Beloved of the Raven God was released in 1995. This prompted Neat Records to sign the band which led to the release of the first album To Mend an Oaken Heart in '97.

They also appeared on the "Britannia Infernus" compillation with the track : Thunderhammer.

It is believed the following two demos were also released:
