Founded in `99 by E.Partanen and M.Minkkinen. First years were played under different names until Pestiferous was chosen. So far Pestiferous has recorded several reh.tapes and few promo/demo´s that stayed unreleased until the songs were selected for a debut release "When Shadows Swallow the Candles". That tape got very good feedback and Behemoth Productions decided to work with the band. Current line-up is T.Oikari bass, E.Partanen vocals & guitars, M.Minkkinen drums & guitars. The first album (scheduled for late June '05) will follow the earlier recordings: raw coldness, depressive and suicidal moods through intense fast and slow parts
