Nocturnal Breed was formed as a thrash metal side project by several well-known musicians from the Norwegian black metal scene in the spring of 1996 (founding members were Destroyer and Ed Damnator). The band members are often joined by strippers on stage. Heidi from the Oslo based strip bar Blaze has toured with the band in Europe. In the year 2000 the band also posed in the Norwegian porn magazine Alle Menn.
