MARTYR is a legendary Dutch band of the 80's that has released two albums (“For the Universe” EP and the “Darkness at Time's Edge” LP), a couple of demo tapes and had contributed songs to the classic compilation LP's, “Dutch Steel” and “Metal Massacre VI”. In 2004 High Vaultage / Metal for Muthas re- releasied both classic albums on CD's with bonus songs from demos, liner notes etc.

After 20 years MARTYR has reunited and is revisiting Europe with their energetic live shows.

In 2008 "MARTYR has signed a new record deal with Rusty Cage Records and on 20 February 2009 the band has released their brand new album "Fear" along with the re-issue of the '85 classic "For the Universe" album in a great double digipack called "Fear the Universe"! December 2008 MARTYR also toured Europe supporting US Metal band Lizzy Borden !

So.....After 20 years :
