1995 - A new band emerges in Český Krumlov on the ruins of the death metal band EXTRAXE, naming itself LOCOMOTIVE.

1996 – LOCOMOTIVE record their first demo that soon gets positive response both from fans and from music critique. Music magazines are enthusiastic about the creation in which the band combines elements of death metal, thrash and hard core. On the base of this response, the band records its debut album LOCOMOTIVE – I in AV Studio of the town of Vyšší Brod. In summer LOCOMOTIVE start their concert activity, presenting themselves to the public at summer festivals. They attract the public thanks to their precise and spontaneous presentation.

The concert campaigns go on and the band crosses the border for the first time, to open the shows to such legends as PRO-PAIN, THE SPUDMONSTERS or GURD at the international Hard Core Fest of Bratislava. Concerts all over the territory of the Czech Republic follow side by side with bands as GRIP INC. , KRABATHOR, WALTARI, RYKER´S, LABERINTO etc. In autumn LOCOMOTIVE make a one-week tour where each concert is visited by about 200 people.

Yet the band sets out for a tour to support the new album with the allied COLP and the excellent Pole band SWEET NOISE. Paste from COLP stands in for the guitar player. LOCOMOTIVE acts in this composition until spring when Roman Řivnáč comes to the band. He passes the Prague concerts where the band supports the giants named MACHINE HEAD before 2500 fans , as well as several festivals. LOCOMOTIVE get the offer from the American DWELL RECORDS company to take part in recording of the tribute album of AC/DC; this offer is accepted with delight and the song Highway To Hell is adapted and situated as the front composition of this tribute album where selected bands from all over the world took part. The band was invited to the Óčko music TV station for a talk where the new “Ornament z pijavic” album and videoclip were promoted. In the meantime they go on reconstructing their LOCO Studio, improving it technically and finishing the background for comfort of the bands. In May LOCOMOTIVE sets out again for a tour across Holland, this time side by side with the Italian K-AGAIN and the Holland CHEESY. In October, the guitar player Rob starts also his activities with the well-known grind core band named INGROWING, where he substitutes the leaving guitar player Pouzar. By the end of the year they also manage to make an excellent concert together with PRO-PAIN and EKTOMORF in Bratislava, Slovakia.

2005 – During March the works at the new Ep are finished in the LOCO studio; that Ep is made completely in English and the new pieces serve as a tasting for the new album planned for the end of the year 2006. In the meantime Rob, the guitar player goes for a one-month Asian tour across Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia with INGROWING, which brings LOCOMOTIVE the cooperation with the Malayan label named SYMPHONIC BLAST PRODUCTION where the edition of an Ep for these Asian countries is planned for 2006. LOCOMOTIVE were invited to take participate in a part of the European tour of PRO-PAIN, they play side by side with the already befriended PRO-PAIN and the Hungarian SUBSCRIBE across Germany, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic; the concerts were cool and LOCOMOTIVE has attracted new fans not only in the Czech Republic. This year a complete concert is recorded in Bratislava in order to produce the first DVD of LOCOMOTIVE for the 10th anniversary of existence of this metal core “thresher”.

2006 – LOCOMOTIVE terminate definitively the cooperation with Booking Agency - Dead Fish Production of Petr Závodský and Rob the guitar player starts caring for the run of the band. They go on making frequent concerts all over the Czech Republic and a European tour is being arranged, which should cover Italia, Switzerland, Austria and Holland. But family reasons of one of the band members cause this tour being postponed for 2007. In April LOCOMOTIVE make again two concerts side by side with PRO-PAIN, as traditionally. Works at the DVD named Live in Bratislava are being finished; the DVD should be christened in May under participation of the Israeli BETZEFER and the German PREZIDENT EVIL and KORODED. The concert takes place, but the christening does not, because the works have not been finished on 100% yet. In the end the DVD is christened in November, in the completely crowded Marty's Club in České Budějovice, under the support of the befriended HAZYDECAY, SHATTER and BORN AGAIN. This was the definitely best concert for the band this year; more than 350 fans have met to support LOCOMOTIVE and to christen the Live in Bratislava DVD. If you like hard and aggressive music giving a kick in the arse, with spontaneous show full of moshing and energy, you have a unique opportunity!!!
