One of the eldest Russian metal bands LITTLE DEAD BERTHA was formed in 1994 in Voronezh. After two unreleased thrash-metal demos the line-up was enlarged by violin player and second guitar player. The genre of the group has changed into doom. The first full-length album "In Memorium Premortis" (classical doom/death with violin and heavy guitar sound) was issued by Hobgoblin rec from Moscow in 1998 as MC. Later in 2000 at the same label the second album "Two Sides" was released. It represents gothic-doom in musical part but more complicated and various, a big more original and symphonic than the first one because mass of passages of guitar and violin as well as keyboard and female vocal. Both of albums were issued by numerous editions and have got good reviews in press. A conflict that has arrived during "Two Sides" recording has droved to departure of some musicians. The line-up was completed by initial bass player, new keyboard player and permanent vocalistess with one guitar player group has begun experiments on searching of new sound. As a result the CD "Light And Shadows" was issued in 2003 by Valiant Music Prod. It was gothic metal album which has more light sound than the two previous. It includes some completely acoustic tracks with leading clean voice. In 2004 "Two Sides" was re-edited as a CD by Stygian Crypt Prod. At the same time group works on new material. As a result the album "Way Of Blind" was recorded which shows the returning to the roots of Little dead Bertha heavy sound! The force and heaviness of melodic death and speed and aggression of black-metal were added to classical guitar-and-keyboard melodies with violin and female vocals. "Way Of Blind" contains the heaviness of "In Memorium Premortis", symphonic of "Two Sides" as well as mastery of arranging and performance which was culminated for 11 years of group existence. Album includes 7 new track and a bonus replayed track from the original 1994 demo. Now the band leads high concert activity in last CD support. In 2005/2006 year band playing many shows in some country like Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine and road in 2 Russian tour. In this time, the band works on following album.
