Lacination was formed in late February 2001 by founders of the band David Arredondo and Joe Frank De Leon. We wanted to compose a band that was heavy oriented.

Lacination is a band that strives to differ ourselves from most other bands in the same genre.

Among numerous line-up changes within the first year, Art Terrezas decided Lacination was the band for him. With heavy guitars, grinding drums, and guttural vocals, we are determined to setting ourselves apart from the other bands within the death metal community.

The first release was in 2002 a EP "Unholy Trinity" and two years later in 2004 release "Darkness Reborn", the view of the band has remained constant over time incorporating different styles of music.

With the release of the latest titled "Continuing" in 2013,Lacination will remain and oppose all who stand ahead and integrate the views of the mainstream.
