Kyrielle was formed in January of 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden by the guitarist Kaz. Yuki (guitar), Julius(drums) and Vincent(bass) were soon to join the band after just a few months, replacing one member who quit the band due to various reasons unknown.

They started out playing covers without vocals, to practice playing as a band. In August of the same year lead singer Freddy, who had barely even sung birthday songs before in his life, tried out for the band and they all decided to give HIM a shot. He agreed to come to their next few band practices to sing the cover songs they were playing at that time, and see if that would lead anywhere.

Luckily it did work and in no time at all they ditched their covers and started playing their own songs instead. The first demo was recorded in February 08, featuring some of their first material; Infected Lies, Faithful, and Unwritten.

Their sound can be described as a broad spectrum of alternative rock, experimental and metalcore. The band is currently playing Live shows in Stockholm and looking for a record deal in Sweden or abroad.
