Biography : Iuvenes

In 1994 musicians of present Iuvenes founded a band under the name Conqueror music of which was similar to accomplishments of bands like: Bathory, Celtic Frost, Possessed etc. Two years later, in the end of 1996 Conqueror changed the name to Iuvenes and contemporaneously the musical style was changed as well. In December 1996 araised the album "Empire of wolfish calls" was recorded by the band and published officially by Eastclan Rec. On "Empire..." there were nearly 30 min. Of dark and transcendental key-music. One year later the other demo "Soons of Mayhem" was published. Four black-thrash compositions could be found on it + one cover by Bathory "Raise the dead". In 1997-2000 Iuvenes started working on their first large album "Riddle of Steel" published by No colour records. The music on this CD is a connection of epic anthems with strong metal sound. It quickly won acknowledgement underground. A short time after publishing "Riddle..." Iuvenes began working on the second album "When Heroes Will Rise". Meanwhile No colours published remastered versions of two demos: Empire of wolfish call and Soons of Mayhem under common title "Empire of Iuvenes". In 2002 "When Heroes Will Rise" was published. This stuff has decidedly had richer guitar arrangements than "Riddle...". In spite of definately poorer classical instrumentarium it's been more metal than epic. One year later No colour published the split of Iuvenes and American band Leviathan under the title "Live in Eternal Sin". There are songs from initial activity of the band that weren't published anywhere. Currently, since autumn 2003 Iuvenes has been working on the third album titled "Towards Sources of Honour and Pride" being a quintessence of Iuvenes accomplishments.
