The band was formed by the guitarist and leader Yumi Nakamura, commands Iron Roses with the authority of an airship captain, guiding her crew through turbulent skies and daring sonic adventures, each performance a journey into the heart of steampunk metal. Aiko Takana from Shibuya, Tokyo, provides the lead vocals joined Iron Roses shortly after Yumi formed the band. Hana Sato, from Yokohama area saw an ad online about an all-female steampunk band looking for a bass player, Hana auditioned and soon became the bassist for Iron Roses. Mei Suzuki born in Sapporo, Japan, is childhood friends with Yumi. Mei brought Rina Matsuda to come watch Yumi, Aiko and Hana play, Yumi asked if Mei and Rina knew how to play instruments. Rina and Mei went to their respective instruments of choice, the Keyboard for Mei and the drums for Rina. Just like the band known as Iron Roses was completed in August of 2023. In October 2023, Iron Roses began work on their debut album "Chronicles of Chaos" which was released on June 21, 2024 to rave reviews. In August of 2024, the band began working on their second album titled "Steamheart Chronicles" which is set to be released on December 27, 2024. The band has yet to go on tour as they are solely focused on working on music in the studio. The band's name and logo were created by founder and guitarist Minako Nakamura (no relation to Yumi but are very good friends) of the band FATE GEAR which is the band that inspired Yumi to form Iron Roses.
