Halberd is an international project composed of two Canadians, one Colombian and one Chinese who lives in England.

This project was initiated by Antoine Richard as a creative outlook for his lyrics and vision. He rapidly asked some of his musicians friends for help and that's how Charles Wong (Aum, Aortic Regurgitation) and Andrés Felipe Murillo (Prajna) joined the project. Alexandre Ferland, a local friend from Montréal joined as the vocalist soon after.
