Coming from Bento Gonçalves, a city located in the Serra Gaúcha, the duo formed by Lucas “From Hell” (guitar/vocals) and Mateus “Blasphemer” (drums) draws on obscure Heavy Metal sources, but does not stick to a single style, adding influences ranging from traditional Heavy to Black Metal and Speed ​​Metal. In their range of influences are also incorporated more recent bands, such as Cruel Force, Nocturnal and Deathhammer. For Lucas, these lively influences tend to enrich EVILCULT's sound: “Our sound is focused on that classic sound from the 80's, but we seek to create something unique, with our face. We've been listening to a lot of Occult Rock too, from Blue Oyster Cult to Ghost.”

With the singles "Eternal Cult of Darkness" (released at the beginning of the year) and now with "Necro Magic", the group is preparing to finalize the debut "At the Darkest Night", which will be released by the Chinese label Awakening Records. In addition to a new version of “Eternal Cult of Darkness” and “Necro Magic”, the track list will also feature “Drunk by Goat's Blood”, “Nocturnal Attack”, “Sons of Helfire”, “Burning Leather”, “ Army of the Dead” and “Unholy Knights”. “Necro Magic” was recorded and mixed by Matheus Carrer Neto at Cosmic Music Studio and mastered by Jean Augusto Antunes (Murdeath). The cover art was created by guitarist and vocalist Lucas “From Hell”, also known for the great work done by From Hell Arts.
