Emptiness was created in July 98 by PHORGATH (singer/bass) and NERATH DAEMON (guit.). Both living in Waterloo ( Belgium), they needed to find a drumer in the same area... They met KHAPTH very soon. The original “black metal” style became more and more “death” so the group needed a second guitarist. That's how ZYKORPH joined the group and brought more power to it. For one year now, NERATH DAEMON plays in the belgian black metal band: ENTHRONED; however, he still plays an important role for EMPTINESS. Apart from concerts in the area of brussels, the group got the opportunity to be on stage next to:CIRITH GORGOR, ENTHRONED, MALE SANCTUS, DESASTER, HOUWITSER, DESTRÖYER666, WITCHMASTER and ZEMIAL. The group is known on the belgian “underground” scene and all its musicians are eager to do all they can to be present on the european metal scene. “Eternal Rising”, their demo, is allready distribued on EP by witching hour record in europe. Today, Emptiness hopes, with their cd "Necrorgy", to get in some contacts with managers, labels, magazines and concert organizers to support a newly-born group which still has a lot to show...
