In 2009, a musical project began its existence and consisted only of Alexander Kondrashov, who decided to seriously get into music. Repertoire began to form at that time as well. Five productive years gave the opportunity to understand which direction the band want to follow.

"Efpix" was finally formed in 2013. The genre can be defined as Melodic Death Metal in the spirit of the Gothenburg school. Of course, the band is not a pioneer in this subgenre, but combining the elements of such genres as Industrial Metal and Death Metal, musicians create their individual sound that distinguishes them among colleagues of heavy scene.

The basis of the composition is represented with crude, heavy guitar riffs, combined with classic fast drumming and voluminous, atmospheric, epic synths.

In music, as it is typical for Death Metal, there is a light atmosphere of schizophrenia, anger and confusion, diluted with detachment, creation and longing.

Lyrics mainly contain the space theme, connected with energy, parallel universes and dimensions. Themes of death and justice also take their important place in the compositions.
