"Dusk Chapel" was formed in July, 2002 by three participants of the band called "Lych Gate" - Artyom (Dreamchaser), Sergey (Rain) and Anton (Sabbathor).

"Lych Gate" was formed year earlier, and was noticed at the festival of extreme music which were taking place in May, 2001 in Donetsk. Subsequently Lych Gate has stopped the existence almost for three years, having revived in 2004 as one of numerous one-man Sergey's projects.

Work above record and mixing of debut album "Almost Forgotten Experience" began in August, 2002 and completely has been finished only on March, 1 2004 when the first promo-party on

CD - R. So long term of record and mixing explains by irregular records-sessions and as re-recording of the some tracks.

Style of the songs submitted on an album, it is possible to define as melodic black with appreciable influences thrash and death metal.

In January, 2004 the band line-up was filled up with the second guitarist Vladimir earlier playing in local group Genocide. Preparation of a material for a new album began.

In June, 2005 contract for release of "Almost Forgotten Experience" with Russian label Magik Art has been signed. The album has been issued on CD in circulation of 1000 copies. Remarkable fact, that official date of the album release has coincided Artyom's birthday (1.06.)

In August of the same year, the lost interest to work above an album Vladimir, has been replaced by the new guitarist Alexander.
