Crimson Death was formed in 1994 along with Geyner Valencia(Guitars-Vocals) and Edgar Rodriguez(Guitars), which started to look for ideal members to complete the line-up. So, in 1995 Carlos Delgado joins the band in the bass guitar and Eduardo in the drum kit, they began to rehearse some songs, but unfortunately Eduardo has to leave the band because of a long trip. The rest of the band continued to composing songs and the same time looking for a new drummer. After proving some drummers in 1998 Rafael Cubillas arrives to the band and joining perfectly in it. So Rafael becomes a permanent drummer in the band. In 1999, Crimson Death recorded a demo CD with 6 Melodic death metal tracks, this demo does not have the distribution the band wants because the sound did not satisfied the needs of the band. At the end of the same year, the band received an offering for recording officially in a national(Peruvian)record label, this records label doesn’t fulfil the work with the band. After this bad step in the band, the band decided to record 2 songs in a local studio in Arequipa. This 2 song are part of their first band promotional E.P. which had a great distribution among the bangers people and had a big acceptance in the metal media. In 2001 the time has come to Crimson Death because they recorded 10 full songs in Session Studio(Lima-Peru) from GUERREROS DE LA MUERTE Record Label. The newer first CD brand has as title “TECHNOLOGY”, because of the band affinity with financial and interest the full length doesn’t released in the appropriated moment. Even the band doesn’t have the CD finished this songs could be listened in compilated CDS and some releases from other countries that members of C.D. didn’t see or listen until today. The band so has the attendance from the people, that immediately wants to watch the band performing live on stage, so the band achived excellents performs in Juliaca and Puno (southern cities near Arequipa) and some acts in Lima (Peru’s Capital) as Yawar metal festival with other important bands of the Peruvian scene. Then in the end of 2003, MYTHIC METAL PRODUCTIONS, a national record label wants to begin as a big record label in South America and at the same time wants to have a band with a recording session finished and ready to be produced. So in march 2004 the band signed for MYTHIC METAL PRODUCTIONS and have the first edition “TECHNOLOGY”, after 3 long years of fighting inside the Peruvian scene. With the CD recorded on the streets, the band accomplished excellent shows in Lima one of them as opening act for the DEATH METAL SWEDISH LEGEND DISMEMBER. In the middle of 2005, the band recorded the second full length in ALTO CALIBRE STUDIOS In Arequipa , the suitable title for the second CD “Death is Essential” cause more than one expectancy in the worldwide scene. PODRE Productions a small record label from Arequipa has in charge of the production for the CD, which contains better elaborated tracks and a more professional presentation to the world metal scene. In may 2006 Rafael leaves the band because of lack of time, and filling the empty space on the drum kit with Karelia Hani a female drummer with specially black metal and death metal background. This was another point of attention and another era for the band and Crimson Death always have to speak something interesting to the worldwide metal scene. In March 2008 Karelia leaves Crimson Death because other priorities in her personal life, she was replaced by Alonso Guevara, and the band plays some shows during 2008. The band starts with rehearsals for the next album, but in August Geyner has to travel to Europe, then Crimson Death has a short "vacation" of eight months.The return of Geyner to Peru in 2009 is the new beginning for the band, Alonso leaves the band because of lack of time, and today he is replaced by Emmanuel Tejada.
