Coldhand started with his project in the late winter of 2006 in small Slovenian village which used to be called Kaltenfeld (in English = Coldfield) but its name was later changed...

He took major influences from bands like Summoning, Bathory, Judas Iscariot, Immortal and old Ulver.

In February 2007, Coldhand released his first full-length album Coldfield. Even though it had pretty bad production, album recieved good reactions from underground ambient/black metal scene and was soon sold out.

Things with next two releases (Through The Land Of Northern Darkness part 1 and 2) did not went as expected because of major printing problems, so now those two albums exist in very small number of copies and were soon moved out of print.

New full-length album was released in August 2008 and it has more ambient oriented sound.
