2005
Autumn



The band concentrates on writing new material. A new song is recorded.


Summer




In august the band is offered to do a gig at a local venue, one week before the gig guitar player Nefast joins the band.


Celebratum spends the beginning of the summer in search of a new guitar player.


Spring

Morchyon decides to leave the band.
Since he must move away from town to complete his education, he will not be able to dedicate the commitment and time it takes to be in a band like Celebratum.


The planed release concert for Instinct in Trondheim at Rosendal scene 06.05.05 is cancelled when Bass player Vlad Tepes is injured badly in his left arm and ribs in a traffic accident.



Winter

”Instinct” is released in February. The released part is being planed.
They are also working on a tour to support the album in the summer.
2004
Autumn

The mixing and mastering of “Instinct” takes more time than planed. Also the artwork is delayed so the album is not ready for the press before November. Metal age and Celebratum decides to release the album early 2005.


Summer

Straight after the studio work was done Celebratum start on the making of their first music video. The track chosen is "Ecstasy of pain".
The Video turns out to be really good. In spite of the low budget the video looks very professional but yet grim and cold.


Celebratum enters Godt selskap studios 02.07.04. And stays there
for 4 weeks recording and mixing the new album that will be entitled "Instinct".

Spring

In May Celebratum decides to inc a deal with Slovakian label Metal Age. The band checks out several studios in their hometown and decides to record the new album at Godt selskap Studios.


The band continues to work with the material for the new album and records a pre-production for 3 of the new songs: Riders of storm, Sweet wine and Time dwell.
The band has at the same time done heavy promotion against labels to secure a new record deal.


Winter

The first live video from the band Riders of storm is released on their homepage 04.02.04. This is a brand new track that will be on the new album.


A shitty start to this year, when Arctic music tell Celebratum that they can not go ahead and start recording the new album in February as planed. After much discussion Artic wants to cancel the current contract, and offers a new deal. Celebratum does not like the new contract at all, and after some thinking the band decides to end the cooperation with Arctic music in February.
2003:
- September: - Consert at Rosendal with Windir and Mancer
- August: - Vlad Tepes is the new bassplayer... Celebratum is now complete
- June: - Still missing a bassplayer
- April: - Morchyon from Molde is joining the band with fresh blood on guitar
- March: - Working on new material...still looking for a bassplayer and guitarplayer
- February : - Teleal get's the boot (Fired)
-January : -Celebratum is looking for a new guitar player..
-Norwegian reviews added.
2002:
- December: - Scython is out of the band for personal resons
-November : -Celebratum is back in the dungeon, rehearseing for their next album.
-Norwegian reviews added.
-Telal is now a official member of Celebratum.
-October : Added reviews of "Mirrored revelation" and "Spirits". See: "Releases"
- Release Party went well, Thanx to: Jalle, Haavard, Jo and Magnus. Sorry for not having the CD, see pictures from the release party in "Pictures"

-September : Release Party at "ByScenen" in Trondheim. Celebratum is introducing their long awaited album "Mirrored revelation" The show kicks off on the 28th of this month and will be supported by "Eternal Silience"
-March :"Mirrored revelation" mastered in Skansen Lydstudio with Stein "fizzi" Bruntland.
2001:
-Oct/Nov : The band entered abyss studios in Sweden, with producer Tommy Tagtgren, to record their
debut album entitled "Mirrored revelation"
-October : Romul decided to concentrate on the vocals.
Celebratum found a new bass player, "Telal" from AAlesund.
-September : Celebratum signed with Arctic music group.
-April : Many labels are interested, under negotiation.
2000:
-Winter :
Kenneth Tiller of Apocalyptic empire records helped Celebratum to promote and send their demo "Spirits"
around the world. Songs from the "Spirits" demo are featured on several compilation-CD`s,
and the band have been offered to do split ep`s and LP`s,
allthough they will most likely consentrate on getting a full-length recording.
-A big step forward in the history of Celebratum was taken in the autum of 2000 when the band
decided to record their second demo "Spirits",in Sweden at the infamous Abyss Studios.
4 crushing Black/death metal assaults that is already receiving great respons from basically
everyone that has had the pain or pleasure of hearing it !!
- March : Celebratum did their first gig with Ancient, and they received good reviews and comments.
1999:
-Celebratum`s first target was to enjoy their music for themselves so
During the summer of 1999 the band entered D`sign studios for their first real recording session.
The result was their first demo, entitled "Carpe Noctem"
The demo was not really spread in that many copies, but still received fairly good reviews and
comments in the underground scene.
1996:
-In late 96 Celebratum met Vargon from Hellstorm and they soon developed into four musicians searching for
a new musical expression in the death/black metal style.musical inspiration has always been 80`ies heavy metal,
90`ies progrock and of course the mighty norse black metal scene!
-In 96 Stig went to the army without informing the rest, so he was kicked out from the band...
1996:
-Romul,Wharrl,Scython and a drummer called Stig started in 1996 as a doom/death metal band,
with a different band name, having no greater ambition than making music for their own pleasure.
