Burden of Life is a young Melodic Metal Band from Regensburg, Bavaria in Southern Germany. Their sound consists of heavy riffing and either screamed or growled vocals combined with simple yet catchy melodies and warm, atmospheric keyboard sounds. Their lyrics deal mostly with inner struggles, depression, loss and the dark sides of life and love. Their first, totally self produced, album was released in february '07 and was received quite well yet there were only a hundred copies produced. From december '07 - august '08 they were occupied with the recording, mixing and mastering of their second effort entitled "Ashes of Existence".The album has been released on November 14th '08.
