Biography : Black Wings (ITA)

Black Wings was born in the late summer of 2005 during a meeting between Filippo Cavallini, a young bass player from Ferrara (Italy) and Federico Rubin, a keyboard player (even younger than Filippo), from a nearby little town called Ripapersico. Soon Giacomo Bazzani, already drummer with Filippo in a heavy band from Ferrara, called Roverfish, joined the band along with his twin brother Federico, Francesco Rubin (guitars). After some auditions, around November 2005, the band found its' singer in the form of Diego Albini, formerly from the band Kreatures of the Night, a hard rock outfit from Ferrara.
After some rehearsals the band started playing many gigs in the Ferrara district and after few months Black Wings recorded their first demo tape featuring two unedited songs (now extremely rare) and two Deep Purple covers.

In august 2006 the band recorded a live gig which received many good reviews from a vast number of webzines around the globe and, after only few months, Black Wings met up Maurizio Chiarello and Underground Symphony Records, which was to be their first record label.
In September 2007 Black Wings started the recording their debut album Sacred Shiver (available all over the world in springtime 2008 with Underground Symphony Records) at the excellent Fear Studio in Alfonsine, Ravenna (Italy).
