BattleSpawn was a formed in the summer of 2012 when local shredder Gianni DiGiacomo joined forces with Weston Woodward's existing band. Stylistically similar, both contributing talents married together a type of Thrash that is both classic and takes step towards the melodic, hardcore and death styles that inspire these axe-slingers. Gianni pulled his prior singer Mike from an extinct band, to join forces with Wes. After a long and arduous battle trying out drummers, the band welcomed the energy and talents of Gabe Rubio. After the departure of original bassist Nick, Jason Chavez joined the band. Out of the ashes of the dead bands these shredders left smoldering, BattleSpawn brings forth their contribution to the Thrash scene. Evil Rising marks the debut of these Denver metal maniacs whose number one goal is to bring a new style of Thrashery to a Metal show near you.
