40290 band consolidated in 1999, in the city of Pasto - Colombia, influenced by Thrash and Death 40290 of the 80's and 90's.
In 2000 they published a home recording demo in Cassette format called: "I've not believed in my pain", where they were well received by followers of this genre, and in 2001 a second format also in Cassette called: "37398 46973."
The band evolved, they dispersed into other musical groups and the project ended in 2006.
Many years later, the members meet again, returning with a Reissue of that first Demo: "I've not believed in my pain" and 2 extra songs that were included in the second Demo. It is a Box Set that contains a Cassette, CD and a QR card, with an excellent new cover design and presentation.
The wait was worthwhile, on March 27, 2024, their official debut album called: "40290 From The Guts" comes to light, to reaffirm that there is still something to do and leave their mark.
