AncientBalls formed on October 2009 in Thessaloniki (Greece). What we believe separates us from other Death Metal bands is the way we approach Death Metal. We love Metal music and we hate how the world has been shaped nowadays. You will notice that our lyrics are straightforward and deal with various subjects such as mythological events, books and movies to everyday reality problems. We are not negative. We approach specific ideas and events in a humorous way. They just fit well with Death Metal music. On April 2010 we released our first Demo CD named “Voices”. The name was chosen because of the song “Voices” which was the first song ever recorded. “Voices”, reviewed by various Internet sites and magazines (Metal Hammer, Rock Hard) around the world and received very good feedback while it was broadcasted on radio stations like Death.fm. We are very proud of this since “Voices” recorded in 2 weeks only and was for us the first project ever. This kept the band going and on November 2010 a second CD named “Era Of Sin” released featuring 5 brand new songs.
