Biography : Amplifire

German Heavy Metal act AMPLIFIRE was forged toward the close of 2000. A staple diet of MOTÖRHEAD, JUDAS PRIEST and SLAYER covers saw AMPLIFIRE duly issuing the 'First Strike' demo in 2001, this featuring versions of SLAYER's 'Seasons In The Abyss' and JUDAS PRIEST's 'Electric Eye'.
In 2002 the three song 'Charge!' demo with entirly self-written material followed as a statement of the band´s new style.

Their debut album 'Cannon Fodder', recorded in the summer of 2003 by Patrick Damiani at Tidal Wave Studio, featured band´s classics such as the blistering 'Charge!', the epic 'Into the Dark' and of course the thundering 'Evil Tank Machine', which should become their trademark song. 'Cannon Fodder' earned very good reviews as in german METAL HAMMER magazine.

Due to several line up changes their next album had to be postponed more than once, but with a new strong lineup AMPLIFREs second album 'Back At The Front' saw birth on April 2007. In early 2008 the three song demo "Back From Furlough" proves the strength of AMPLIFIREs actual LineUp. The old Evil Tank Machine still keeps on rollin´!
