Biography : Altar Of Sin (UK)

Raife Hacking (Formerly of Coffin Fodder) decided to start a brutal death metal band with Alex Grimshaw (Formerly of Coffin Fodder) and Dale Linsdell (Adremelech). The name originally decided on was DominiSanctum, but this didnt translate so well into English. So they went with Altar of Sin. Raife found Craig Wright (Formerly of Demonica) to be second guitarist. Craig brought Aaron McKenzie to Altar of Sin to complete the line-up on bass.

They began writing songs immediately and within a month of completing the line-up they had a headlining slot at The Attic in Rushden. Everyone there that night liked what they heard from Altar of Sin and from there on they have been gigging around the country since, including a headlining slot in Nottingham at The Old Angel. Aaron Mckenzie left due to a fall out with the band and was replaced by Chris Andrews.

In April 2006, Altar of Sin were finally in the studio recording theyre debut EP entitled Apocalyptic Dawn, track listings are as follows:

1. Apocalyptic Dawn
2. Impaled Nazarene
3. World Abortion
4. Rapecore Annihilation
5. Carnage Enthroned
6. The Stained Pathways of Gehenna

Unfortunately in May 2006, the band had several arguments and personnel changes, so they thought it was best to call it a day. Everyone went their seperate ways.
