The creature named Algorn was born at the beginning of September 2005....and it was founded by ASTHAROT, SHAITAN and HALPHAS. From the beginning the members wanted the sound to be extreme, possibly choosing or not to be more or less melodic....TRAUMA (a former member) entered the band as bass player. The band began playing cover versions from Burzum, Carpathian Forest, Satyricon and Mayhem.. The band generally does not like to play live but to compose its own music. After a hard work, the band records the demo titled “Intervalla Insaniae”, which includes tracks of pure, savage and uncompromising lo-fi black metal. After the recording sessions the band fires TRAUMA, replaced by SMOKE, a bass player who was strongly influenced by punk and dark music. After some time they decide to issue the single “666-the evil war”, recorded at Lucera (ITALY). After a stop during the Summer, the band starts to grind darkness waiting to record their cd “Anticlerical Legion”. During the session also the second bass player SMOKE leaves the band and whose firing was due to stylistic reasons. This situation forces the vocalist HALPHAS to move between the four chords and the vocal chords, waiting for a new member to close the open circle which is not closed yet. For this reason, the recording of “Anticlerical Legions” is undeterminately delayed, although this fact does not prevent the band from continuing. In fact, on October the 28th the band records in the course of a single session the demo “True Southern Black Metal", which includes a new track plus a cover version of “Freezing Moon” by Mayhem, along with a remixed version of “Delirium” and an alternative one of “666 – the evil war”. Then, Karl joins Algorns, in the bassist role, leaving momentainly Halphas just for the voice.
