Since the band was founded mid 2006 Alantia has been challenged by several changes in their composition. In May 2009 we found our band complete and we could start working. Alantia plays melodic metal in the style of Nightwish and Sonata Arctica, but also influences from the '80 bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden can be heard. The music consists of powerful guitar riffs, colorful keyboard lines and beautiful vocal parts. Catchy songs alternate with songs with more complex structures. This summer Alantia got the sad news that Yvette was going to stop singing for Alantia, so the quest for a new singer began. Not much later Liselot came for audition and we decided to accept her into Alantia. Right now, we are rehearsing with our new line-up for upcoming concerts and making plans to record a new CD this winter.
