Verrotte Ziel (born May 24, 2007) is an musician and songwriter. He founded the Black Metal, Depressive Suicidal Black Metal, Black Noise and Dark Ambient band "Vlees", he plays the drums, guitars, synthesizers, and makes the vocals.
He started at 14 years with the single "Crows Eats Your Ribcage Flesh While You Are Hanging From A Putrid Tree" in May 2, 2022, which was supposed to be Depressive Suicidal Black Metal under the stage name "Skull Full Of Maggotz". Inspired by bands like Darkthrone, Beherit, Burzum, Judas Iscariot, Make A Change... Kill Yourself and Xasthur, trying to get raw guitar riffs and deep vocals. Then he finished his first Dutch Black Metal EP "Eens Wanneer Je Achter Je Boerderij Hangt" under the stage name "Verrotte Ziel" in June 9, 2022, including his first single in it. Finally founding the project with the name "Vlees" which means "Flesh" in Dutch.
Recording all instruments for the project: guitars, drums, synthezisers and vocals. Trying to sound as out of tune as possible. He harmed himself with a razor blade while recording the vocals for the songs "Hello Kitty Rapes You with a Chainsaw" in the Gorenoise album "Hell of Kitty" and "Suicide Nuns Ripping Their Veins with Gillette Razors" in the Black Noise EP "Depressive Blasphemous Necromantic Nuns". Inspired by Spermswamp and Hello Kitty Suicide Club to make Cybergrind and Gorenoise.
After nearly dying on a hospital gurney on July 2022, he got inspired by Burzum during recovery to start composing Dark Ambient, like the single "Mørke Ritualer Og Trolldom Deler Opp Mine Endeløse Opprivende Mareritt Mens Jeg Er Dømt Til å Leve For Evigheten" and the album "Melankolsk Depresjon".
