"Vasco Ramos will be one of the best producers ever. You know why? Because he knows how to take the best from each musician. Besides having a great musical sensibility of all kinds, he is like a band member and always gives his best. He helped our band to get the sound we really wanted.
For me as a singer, was the best that could have happened, he got me to sing better than ever, he shows you the best way forward, without ever lose your identity." Marco Passadinhas, Bless The Oggs

"I won´t lie to you, when we first choosed Vasco for producing "Black Book" was because he is a close friend and we all knew his history in MTAT - beside being a friend we are followers of his work.
We couldn´t get it more right. Vasco is a very creative person, he knows and understands music.
I think the biggest problem a band has is dealing with change.
Vasco understands what you want to do, he listens and motivates you. He makes your songs better. For me, professionaly, i can´t ask more than a producer that feels the work the same way i do, that believes in the music and that tries to get the best out of me.
Some people can think that this kind words are due to our friendship, but i´ve seen him work with other bands in the studio and the motivation he has with all the bands, the way he feels what you want and need, is something that money can´t buy.
That´s why we have choosed to work again with him, now on "Strangers".
So believe me, if you´re looking for someone to work with on your next record - he´s the man." Fábio Batista, Hills Have Eyes

"Working with Vasco helped us getting a new perspective, helped us open our minds to what our music could reach and he really push us to the best work we could do in that time..." Guilherme Henriques, Before the Torn

Is not a secret that the lead singer Vasco Ramos from the band More Than a Thousand, always wrote and sang lyrics inspired on (Horror) movies.
If you've ever seen More Than a Thousand live, you noticed that Vasco always wears classic movie t-shirts.
So in 2010 he decided to create his own clothing brand "FRIGHTMARE".
Once again Frightmare is based on the one thing that inspires him the most...MOVIES!
If you like movies and specially the horror genre then Frightmare is your brand!

MORE THAN A THOUSAND:
More than a thousand are Europe's best kept secret but that is about to change... In their home country Portugal these guys are already rocking the place with a solid fanbase. They played supports shows for Metallica, 30 Seconds To Mars, Incubus and many more while easily filling 300-500 capacity venues as headliner. To expand their horizon the band lived in London for a while. After playing shows with Papa Roach, Bring Me The Horizon and Gallows the guys left the UK to conquer the rest of Europe by doing a lot of headlining tours. In 2009 they recorded their latest album "Make friends and enemies" in Baltimore (US) with producer Paul Leavitt ((Senses Fail; All Time Low; Circa Survive; Strike Anywhere).
The album came out on MetroDiscos (an Independent Portuguese label) in May 2010.
The band is still touring with the new album.
Try to catch them on tour!!
