The passion for music has always been in his soul, deeply inspired by the intricate and dreamlike atmospheres of bands such as Pink Floyd and Yes, but he grew cautiously closer to the guitar at the beginnig of the 90's, when he was completely submerged by the sonic power that this instrument was able to deliver in Metal music. Moving on as a self-taught guitarist for the first years, and refining the techniques used mainly in Blues and Metal, he synthesised the 'virtuoso' element of the 80's with a more global and orchestrally aimed conception of musical composition. Hypnos, started playing in small cover bands, like most do, in the Rimini area of Italy, until in May 1998, he was asked to become part of the project named HORTUS ANIMAE, in which he is given the possibility to merge the multiple styles in favour of a pure psycho-sonic experimentation.
