Phil Sgrosso is a current guitarist for the metalcore band As I Lay Dying, and co-wrote the album Shadows Are Security, as well as the new album An Ocean Between Us. In addition, he recorded the entire "A Long March" album. Phil graduated from Vista High School in Vista, California in June 2003. Phil is a California native. He and his long time girlfriend Shannon Wiles attend North Coast Church.

Phil's favorite bands include In Flames and Iron Maiden, both of which As I Lay Dying has toured extensively with.
