Devin DeHaven (born Harry Konstandinos Pappas II, February 20, 1970) is a music video producer/director and professional photographer
Born in Sacramento, he graduated from Rio Americano High School in 1988, and moved to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. Over the years he directed several videos and continued to try and push his career forward. His break came in 1996 when he directed a music video for, then an unknown band, P.O.D.. The video contributed to the bands signing with Atlantic Records and they went onto sell over 10 million records in their career. For the next few years he was a director at major production companies including Crash Films and Propaganda Films directing numerous music videos.
In 2000 he pushed his company, Fortress Entertainment Group (also known as FortressDVD) into producing all access and live concert DVD's. He spent most of 2000 touring with Xzibit, Eminem, Limp Biskit, and Papa Roach on the Anger Management Tour. From that tour Fortress released its first DVD Xzibit "Restless Xposed". Over the next few years he produced and directed DVDs for Busta Rhymes, Tha Alkaholiks, Kurupt, DJ Quik, P.O.D., WC and The Outlawz.
In 2003 he travelled with European superstar Anastacia to South Africa to create a DVD around her trip to the Nelson Mandela 46664 concert that featured U2 members Bono and The Edge, Queen, Beyonce and others. In 2005 he began extensive touring with Papa Roach, releasing a live DVD Live and Murderous in Chicago. While touring he returned to a passion from his youth shooting photos. His tour photos gained so much attention by 2006 he was shooting album covers and other photo shoots for Papa Roach, Xzibit, Sean Kingston, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Robin Thicke, Poncho Sanchez, Method Man and others. In 2006 he also produced a live DVD for Method Man "Live From The Sunset Strip" and several music videos including two for The B-Side Players. One of the B-Side Players videos "Nuestras Demandas" became an anthem of sorts for the national immigration rallys.
In 2007 and 2008 he produced live DVD's for Talib Kweli "Live At The Shrine", Tha Alkaholiks "Live From Rehab", Unwritten Law "Live and Lawless" and Christian Scott "Live At Newport".
He and his wife Anabel (married in 2004) reside in Los Angeles. They formed and run an organization called The Insignificant Project that has gathered support from many of his artist friends and brings awareness and funding for the fight against youth poverty around the world. His biography states he still only shoots photographs in film bucking the trend of the digital revolution of photography.
