Born David Philip Henzerling on May 3, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents, Susan & Philip. The oldest child of 4 children. Siblings include Terri, Julie and brother Daniel (ex-Gin Blossoms, Gas Giants).

David began his musical career at an early age, shortly after the family moved to Phoenix. As a young teenager, he joined a band called, The Schoolboys, which was a popular Arizona band. He graduated from Gerard Catholic high school and received a full scholarship to the University of San Diego, where he studied to be an architect. Dave's guitar strings were calling him and he eventually turned to his guitar and joined the band, Keel. Shortly after, Dave moved on to join King Kobra with Carmine Appice, playing guitar on all of the albums recorded. He also played guitar on some of Lizzy Bordens albums.

In Hollywood in the 1990's, David had some success with bands such as Geronimo!, The Tomcats and Liquid Black (produced by Roy Thomas Baker).
In the mid 1990's, David went back to college at Arizona State University and graduated on the Deans list with a degree in Software Engineering.

In 2005, David formed the group, 'Big Cock', writing, recording and producing 3 successful records on his own Indy record label, Driver Wild Music. The band had International success performing at Rocklahoma 2 years in a row and many other summer music festivals. They also opened for the likes of Winger, Ian Gillan & Bret Michaels.

He recently had his song, "Real Man", from 'Big Cock's' 2nd CD, featured on an episode of America's Got Talent. More of his songs will be featured in upcoming films.

Currently, David is working again with his old band mates in King Kobra and Paul Shortino. Dave is writing songs, playing guitar and working in the studio on pre production for the soon to be released King Kobra album.

David plays bass guitar with Capitol/Megaforce recording artists, Icon.

David resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife of 18 years, Kathryn, their four children, 5 dogs and 1 cat.
