Aurora Han
Lunar Legion
Aurora Han (한아로라) – Keyboards, Synth Programming
Born: December 2, 1966 — Daejeon, South Korea
Active in Lunar Legion: 1984 – present
Aurora Han brought atmosphere to Lunar Legion’s cosmic world. Trained in classical piano before discovering electronic music, she joined the band while studying at a Tokyo music academy. Her fascination with synthesizers and sound design helped define the “galactic” tone that set the group apart.
On stage, Aurora surrounded herself with vintage Roland and Yamaha keyboards, often beginning concerts with ambient intros that flowed into power-metal anthems. Her compositions such as “Embrace the Infinity” and “Crimson Mirage” revealed her blend of elegance and mystery.
By the 1990s she expanded her palette to include acoustic piano, Mellotron, and ambient textures, giving Silent Aurora its reflective character. Critics often described her as “the architect of the band’s soul.”
